In partnership with a team of consultants led by CJMW Architecture, Creative EDC developed a market analysis to support the redevelopment analysis of the former Vista Theater and Leggett Building in downtown Altavista. The Vista theater opened in 1936 and closed in 1989 after a devastating fire. The Leggett Building is on the National Historic Registry and is another anchor to downtown and Main Street. Together, these buildings offer Altavista a unique redevelopment opportunity.
Creative EDC’s scope of work included a market study, reuse and redevelopment strategies, marketing strategy, review of incentive policies, and collaboration with the CJMW team that included transportation, construction, and development professionals.
