Creative EDC completed a site identification study for Wake County Economic Development that identified the best industrial site in each municipality. Given the rapid pace of development across the county, Wake County Economic Development and its municipal partners wanted to identify industrial land so they can put strategies in place to preserve and develop it before it is developed for nonindustrial uses. The scope of work included developing a list of potential sites, GIS analysis, evaluation, and recommendations. Each municipality received a report describing their potential sites, a recommended priority site, and next steps for development.
